At the 2026 Libertarian Party AGM in Victoria the schedule had already fallen behind, but we still made time to officially launch the Young Libertarians Australia program.
We outlined a clear concept for giving younger members their own space to organise, build skills and take on real roles inside the party.
The reaction from both the party and the members in the room was positive and enthusiastic. People listened carefully, asked good questions and showed clear support for the idea of a stronger youth presence.
There is genuine interest in doing more to involve younger Australians who care about individual freedom, limited government and personal responsibility.
We look forward to developing the program from here. The structure, activities and ways for people to get involved will be worked out carefully, with the goal of building something that actually helps young members take ownership of the work ahead.
The groundwork is now in place and we are looking forward to what comes next.
